Five Minute Friday time with Lisa-Jo (the Gypsy Mama). Where we “just write without worrying if it’s just right or not.” No editing!
This week’s prompt: “Connect…”
When we feel attuned to someone, we say we’re “connected.” We’ve bonded in some way, identifying with each other, encouraging one another, spurring on growth or life.
We are made for connection, as difficult as it might seem sometimes. God created man, saw his need to connect with another being, and created woman. How amazing is that?
And all this connection reminds us we grow from the original Source, from which we all were (are) first connected to.
But that Source allows us the option to stay connected or disconnect. We can cut ourselves off, if we so desire (with devastating results).
Even more surprising, He allows us to re
connect with Him. To grow again, intertwine, receive nourishment as a branch on the vine
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” – John 15:5
