It’s a late Five Minute Friday, today (on a Saturday). But I’m joining in, nonetheless!
Five Minute Friday with Lisa-Jo at the The Gypsy Mama: A time where we “just write and not worry if it’s just right or not.” Five minutes of writing without editing or backtracking!
This week’s prompt: “Together…”
I need together.
To celebrate joys together.
To endure through trials together.
I need this together with my kids. With my husband. With my fellowship.
But more than those, most of all, I need this together with my God.
And this, I forget. I try to forge through without really, truly being together with my God. My God who loves, redeems, builds. To be with Him, where love and faithfulness meet together.
He created and combine the earth and all of creation together “while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy.” What power! What strength! Why would I even try to continue through without clinging to the together He calls us to?
When I realize this, and I live together with my family, with you. When we “do life” together, under this great God’s hand, we see His blessings, His love. And then we do what we were created together to do. We praise Him together.
“Join together in following my example, brothers and sisters, and just as you have us as a model, keep your eyes on those who live as we do.” – Philippians 3:17

Question for you: How do you go through life “together?”
